Efforts to Improve the Quality of Maternal Health Services on Pregnancy Outcomes

Abstract
Health services are an important factor in the success of achieving the maternal pregnancy outcome target. Health services that have been running need to be evaluated and monitored for new innovations. This study aims to see an overview of the health care program for pregnant women from various innovations that have been carried out in Indonesia and to find the right program innovations. This study is a literature review study that uses articles that are appropriate to the topic and are still relevant to use. The articles used are articles obtained on browser search engines in national and international reputable journals. The literature review study is made in a synthesis table based on the topic of the study. Various kinds of health service programs and local innovations have been carried out to improve health services for pregnant women. The Ante Natal Care (ANC) program is a very good program but needs to be monitored and evaluated to see the success of pregnancy outcomes. This program should be able to achieve or exceed the long-term health strategic plan targets. The findings show that several health service indicators have reached the target, such as delivery visits at health facilities. The indicators that have not reached the target are the maternal mortality rate index, infant mortality, and stunting prevalence. Therefore, evaluating the ANC program and finding an innovative and targeted healthcare program for pregnant women is necessary. Keywords - Health Services, Ante Natal Care, Evaluation, Innovation
