Empowerment of Adolescent Families of Anemia in a Patrilinear Society in West Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (Adolescent Perspective Qualitative Study)

Abstract
Adolescents are one of the groups that are prone to anemia, its prevalence in Indonesia continues to increase. Families need to be empowered because they play an important role in the process of development, prevention and improvement in any health problems found in the family. This study aims to explore the practice of family empowerment in anemic adolescents in a patrilinear society. The method used is the perspective of anemic adolescents on how to empower families in a patrilinear society using a phenomenological design. Domain analysis is used to explain the fact that the sub-theme of anemia youth perspective is related to family empowerment in a patrilinear society. The results of this study were anemic adolescents considered that family empowerment had never been done.all family members carry out orders or decisions that have been determined by the head of the family who has the resources to decide. Conclusion ; Family empowerment does not occur in anemic adolescent families who are in a patrilinear society because the family (family leader) is unable to recognize problems in the family (anemic adolescents) and how to solve them because they still uphold patriarchal cultural values so that they affect parenting and decision-making in the community. family and cannot cooperate with all elements outside the scope of their life.
