Paper Title
Prevention of Diabetes Mellitus Type II in Adolescent with Prediabetes in Indonesia

Abstract
The prevalence of diabetes in the world is 9.3% and as many as 10.7 billion people in Indonesia suffer from diabetes in 2019. It is estimated that in 2030 prediabetes will increase by 0.6% to diabetes. In addition, diabetes contributes to global causes of death with an early death rate that has increased by 5% (IDF, 2017; IDF, 2019). The thing that needs to be considered before the onset of DM is the condition of prediabetes.DM management is very effective in the early stages before prediabetes symptoms appear.Adolescents have a high risk for nutritional disorders because at their age there is an increase in nutritional needs, often limit food consumption, and their consumption patterns often deviate from the principles of nutrition science. The purpose of this article is to find out efforts to prevent Type II Diabetes Mellitus in Adolescents with Prediabetes in Indonesia. The method used in compiling this article is to use a literature review with data sources obtained from the search results of a number of databases including Pubmed and Google Scholars. The search results from 8 literatures, 6 literatures found that diet and physical activity can prevent the occurrence of diabetes mellitus in adolescents with prediabetes. 2 other literatures found that there was a decrease in blood glucose levels and cholesterol levels in the group of adolescents with prediabetes who were given Moringa leaf extract. Based on the results of the literature study above, it can be concluded that efforts to regulate diet (diet), physical activity and administration of Moringa Leaf Extract can prevent the development of diabetes risk in the future which is associated with glycemic control, increased insulin sensitivity, decreased cholesterol levels, decreased glucose blood pressure, changes in BMI and weight loss. This intervention can be applied as an alternative to prevent the development of diabetes in prediabetic adolescents in the future.
