Elementary School Reproductive Health Education Model based Multimedia Animation: A Literature Review

Abstract
All over the world, including Indonesia, pornography addiction is a serious problem. Pornography is closely related to reproductive health. Currently, most teenagers obtain information about reproductive health through their peers or from the internet, which is more pornographic than educational. The purpose of this literature review is to identify and describe evidence based on current knowledge regarding knowledge levels of Reproductive Health Education in Elementary Schools. Literature sources in this study came from online database journals that provide free journal articles in PDF format, such as: Science Direct, Pubmed, and Google Scholar indexed by Quartile 1-3 Scopus. From 1875 articles identified in the search phase, 7 articles were eligible for inclusion in this review. The article reveals the good effectiveness of animated multimedia to be used as a teaching model on reproductive health, and it is very promising to be developed in the future. Reproductive health is a serious problem that needs to be prevented from an early age/pre-adolescence. Prevention of reproductive health diseases is promoted by providing information about the dangers and how to anticipate them through reproductive health education by cooperating with multimedia animation technology that is appropriate, interesting, informative and comprehensive which contains knowledge about puberty, reproductive organs, narcotics and other illegal drugs, as well as skills healthy living. Multimedia animation must refer to The International Technical Guidance on Sexuality Education which is adapted to social and cultural characteristics.
