Booster Acceptance Model as a Routine Vaccine: A Literature Review

Abstract
This review aims to show the need for COVID-19 booster dose as a routine vaccineand a model that can be selectedfor the vaccine program. A systematic search of PubMed was performed to identify articles published between 2020 and 2022 from any country, reporting decreased VE in a vaccinated population and models that had been used for vaccination programs.Data from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and WHO are also used as reference sources. All types of vaccines experience a decrease in VE after a certain time of use. Various models were implemented, from eight studied countries only three countries had their citizens willing to be vaccinated and eventhen this happened because of the massive spike in cases of COVID-19. The rest use the policy model as the key to the success of achieving primary dose vaccination.COVID-19 booster dose as a routine vaccine is urgently needed to maintain protective levels of antibody, particularly in elderly targets, andfor its success policy model can be selected for the vaccine program.
