Overseas Migrants- Expectations from Delhi

Abstract
Indian migrants in Gulf Cooperation Council and their crisis is a known topic in discussion for long. This study covers the Indian Diaspora, in Gulf Cooperation Council, their grievances and the redressal management through Indian government authorities. The situation has been improved in past decades, however, to bring it upto the mark, the authorities need a little more effort. Above all, to improve the conditions, the policies alone are not enough, but an intended approach is required. The host countries are more active towards strengthening their labor laws. Countries like United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Kuwait have shown an outstanding amendment in their existing system. This is just to ensure the protection of the labor rights. Now the Indian authorities mustrevise their existing strategy at mass. India in comparison to other competitors in Gulf Cooperation Council, who are sharing the labor supply platform, has superiority in almost aspects. Countries Like Philippines and Nepal has already taken initiatives to protect their workforce from exploitation. Their revised policies along with several research advises should be studied and implemented. The workforce in overseas is a resource and producing enough remittance to support the countries economic strength. Considering this, they government must invest the best resource to cope them up from long going extremities. Certain polies need to be revived and rest needs to be implemented effectively.
