Paper Title
How Economic Orientation Predicts Social and Environmental Responsibility of Organizations

Abstract
This paper investigated the influence ofthe maximization of economic results and responsible economic results on environmental and social corporate social responsibility (CSR) in organizations. The study drew upon environmentalism, social, and management theories in the conceptualization of the new CSR model, integrating previous studies on several economic orientations. The model includes macro-level predictors of CSR and the convergence effects of economic circumstances on CSR were tested using structural equation modeling on a data set of 272 employees in Slovenian organizations. Findings provided support for fundamental theories of the constant growth of concern for the natural environment and responsible economic results during observed period of time. This suggests a need to consider economic CSR in the context of natural and social CSR and further test the model under changing economic circumstances. Results serve as a data-based foundation and guide future theoretical and empirical development of the domain of economic CSR.
