Paper Title
Attitudes of University Students towards Native and Non-Native English Speaking Professors
Abstract
The study investigates the difference in attitudes that university students in Pisahave towards native and non-native English-speaking professors. A total of 54 students recruited from the University of Pisa participated in the experiment. A quasi-experimental design was implemented to study the difference between perception of materials presented by native English-speaking professors (NESP) and non-native English-speaking professors (NNESP). The analysis revealed no statistically significant differences between experimental and control groups in the level of attitude towards NESP or NNESP. Findings and the limitations are discussed.
