Paper Title
Comparison of Traditional and Modern Architectural Material used Surfaces with Eye-Tracking Method

Abstract
This study focuses on the cognitive effect of architectural façades made of adobe as a traditional material, using today's technologies, especially the cement-containing plaster-covered façades, which are frequently used recently. For the study, 5 different facade setups were created, and both adobe material and cement-based-plaster material facades were selected. Two different material facades selected were accepted as stimuli and shown to the participants in front of the screen. Eye tracking was performed with the stimuli shown. 34 healthy volunteers participated in the study. The data obtained from the participants online were evaluated statistically by various eye-tracking analyses. As a result, it was found that the façades with adobe cladding were found to be more remarkable and examined more by the participants. It is thought that this result will encourage designers that the material in question, and therefore other traditional building materials used in settlements, can be used in terms of other criteria as well as ecological and sustainability values.
