Paper Title
Six Sigma: Philosophy, Development Concept and Strategy

Abstract
The philosophical perspective of Six Sigma views all work as processes that can be defined, measured, analyzed, improved, and controlled. Processes require inputs (x) and produce outputs (y). If you control the inputs, you will control the outputs. This is generally expressed as y = f(x). Six Sigma is a measure that seeks to improve product, namely in reducing the number of defects, reducing product variations and achieving as much as possible towards zero defects. If defects are a picture of product failure, then the Six Sigma application also tends to make continuous quality improvements because the limit on the number of defects is being narrowed down. Six Sigma methodology is a proven tool set for driving and achieving transformational change within an organization. It is a business improvement process that focuses an organization on customer requirements, process alignment, analytical rigor, and timely execution. Six Sigma is a method that provides organizations tools to improve the capability of their business processes. This increase in performance and decrease in process variation helps lead to defect reduction and improvement in profits, employee morale, and quality of products or services. The next generation of Six Sigma is a performance system used for business strategy. Some of the steps used in it are: 1) Align executives to the right objectives and targets; 2) Mobilize improvement teams; 3) Accelerate results; and 4) Govern sustained improvement. The role of implementers and change agents in Six Sigma is very important, as well as executives as project sponsors who will always exercise control over how to measure and achieve specific goals.
