Corrosion and Marine Environment Study for Libyan Electrical Power Generation Plants

Abstract
General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) is responsible for power generation, transmission and distribution to the industries, agriculture fields and all other public utilities throughout the country and due to the pollution effects andrestrict regulations on the environmental rules. GECOL wish to implement a marine pollution study for several power and desalination plants. The objective of this paper to prepare the environmental marine study either the effect of effluent of power and desalination plant on the marine or the effect of marine pollution on the power and desalination plant. Collection of accurate and reliable measurements in order to reduce and control the marine pollution and describes the corrosion problems.
