Towards a Model for Simulating Collision of Multiple Water Droplets Flow Down a Leaf Surface

Abstract
In this research article a mathematical model based on physics is proposed for generating a genuine trajectory of multiple droplets traversing the surface of Frangipani leaf. Moreover, collision between droplets and liquid streaks behind the droplet are included in our developed model. Additionally, a stopping criterion is developed for the droplet using the thin-film theory. This model is vital in understanding how nutrient, pesticide and water absorbed within the leaf surface. The surface is consisted of a triangular mesh structure constructed using a 3D set of real data points collected using laser scanner and the motion is computed over every triangle. The simulation of the model is validated using Matlab programming and the results appear to captures the motion fairly well and produce a real droplets movement.
