Paper Title
Comparison Study of Resistance Multi Hull Floatplane

Abstract
This research discusses the optimization of wave resistance reduction and resistance of the aircraft hull, which will be the development of the N219 aircraft. The challenge in providing safe and high-performance seaplanes presents rigorous and interrelated transportation that requires analytical and holistic analysis to obtain efficient design solutions. A multi-hull is a two-hull configuration or has two hulls. Compared to single-hull, many of the advantages of this multi-hull can account for better crossing, obstacles with a small value, and a wider deck area. This study aims to obtain an optimal form of the multi-hull hull in terms of floating quality. The analysis is looking for the value of resistance and stability of the multi-hull by numerical analysis. It is hoped that after this research, hull design can be implemented and used for the N219 aircraft Floatplane and also as a reference for further research. The results shows from the comparison of two model of the multi-hull, the type of multi-hull model 1 obtained smallest total resistance value compared to model 2. The total resistance value for model 1 is 55.7 kN and model 2 89.61 kN.. The research conclude that Multi-Hull model 1 has a good value of resistance.
