Paper Title
Teaching Platforms, Interactive Tools & Consultation Methodologies to Avoid Student Performance Degradation in A Future With Covid-19

Abstract
In-class teaching in the Caribbean Republic of Trinidad & Tobago was suspended indefinitely on Friday 13th March 2020 because of the emergence of the Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 global health crisis. This immediately resulted in the switch to online teaching for all students early-childhood level education to tertiary-level education. Two years later in 2022, with the presence of several variants of the Novel Coronavirus COVID-19, and the expectation of the emergence of more, efforts must be placed towards continuation of teaching activities with the acceptance that the Novel Coronavirus COVID-19 will be in existence for years to come. This research will focus on examining the impact of use of online teaching platforms, interactive tools and consultation methodologies in avoiding student performance degradation in a future with COVID-19. The study will be based on both the level-one (1) Digital Electronics course and the level-two (2) Laboratory and Project Design course of the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine.
