Steering and Stability Control of Two-Wheel Steering and Two-Wheel Driving Bicycle Aimed to Prevent Overturning
Abstract
In this study, we focused on a Two-Wheel steering Two-Wheel driving type (2WS/2WD) bicycle in which the convenience of conventional bicycles and higher steering stability than the conventional bicycles coexist. We design and implement a steering stabilization control according to the roll angle and speed based on the characteristics of the2WS/2WD bicycle As a result, we develop a bicycle with a lower risk of overturning than a conventional bicycle in the extremely low to normal speed range in straight running and slalom.
