Paper Title
Intellectual Capital and Public Sector: There are Similarities with Private Sector?
Abstract
The goal of this paper is to know if the relevant literature on intellectual capital with regard to the public sector has important content and if it can be used in such a way that it is possible to know if there are similarities with the private sector. It is concluded that the literature, which relates the 2 aspects, is scarce and, therefore, cannot bring abundant information to scientific knowledge. Thus, there is a very large expansion of scientific knowledge to be carried out, in this domain of the public sector related to intellectual capital, and it is not expected that, even at a high rate of research production, as much literature as already is obtained. exists concerning the private sector. The problem of the definition-measurement-value sequence of intellectual capital, in the public sector, arises with more emphasis than in the private sector and hence the research to be carried out is much more laborious, and it is no wonder that these 2 aspects together lag far behind on the same aspects of the private sector.
