Decision Tree-Based System Control in Solar Photovoltaic Arrays

Abstract
Generally PV arrays have non-linear output characteristics with different faults and its considerations with conventional devices for protection. To classify, detectand control the system with Distributed Generation(DG). By adopting the method of decision trees (DT), which is a supervised type of learning. The measurements and estimations including solar Photo voltaic systems include the parameters like current, voltage and power, irradiance with operating temperature. In Simulation results, the trained DT model have shown high accuracy with the test set data considered. Keywords - Solar PV arrays, Decision tree method, MATLAB, Grid-connected, Supervised Learning.
