Decarbonization of Industrial Process: The Moroccan Case

Abstract
Following the path of international environmental practices aiming to reduce the impact of production process on air, water and soilquality, this article is an exploration of industrial companies’ contribution in the protection of the environment and the reduction of theirimpact on industrial practice. In order to explore the commitment of Moroccan companies to this objective, we used a sample of 109 Moroccan industrial companies to assess the correlation between the state'spolicies in terms of sustainabledevelopment and the environmental actions undertaken by these companies. This article is therefore intended to be an outline between what is planned in terms of environmental performance and the real practices exercised in the industrial processes.
