The Relationship between Empathy and Psychological Capital

Abstract
For the purpose of this term paper, I have chosen two very important constructs, namely, empathy and psychological capital. Psychological Capital is a higher order construct that consists of 4 constructs namely hope, efficacy, resilience & optimism. In the below literature review the construct is explained in greater detail. The purpose of this paper is to look at the possible molar relationships between empathy and the 4 dimensions of psychological capital. In the hypothesis generated, the pathways which lead to the relationships are also mentioned. Hence, we can see the factors which could be mediating the molar relationships mentioned above.
