Abstract
This paper analyses the problems associated with anthropology in Kyrgyzstan. Through analyzing past developments we hope to give a vision of development for our field in both the sense of scientific-theoretical and also practical significance. The field of Central Asian studies in Kyrgyzstan has its own particular history, simultaneously reflecting heuristic content, ascent, and ideological stagnation and conflict. Since Central Asian studies is inherently an interdisciplinary regional study, this article posits anthropology as one of its important and inalienable disciplines.
