Globalization and EFL Curriculum in Jordan

Abstract
Globalization and education are two interrelated concepts that go together as many researchers perceive each one of the as a reflection of the other since globalization has primarily contributed to enhance the position of English as an international language. This paper attempted to investigate the presence of globalization in the EFL curricula in Jordan. The researcher conducted a content analysis of Grade Eleven English books. The results of the study showed that the aspects of globalization were not incorporated in the EFL textbooks rather the curriculum is only limited to the cultural aspects.
