How the Independent Tourists Purchase Accommodation?

Abstract
This paper focused on FIT who concluded their trips to Israel in July 2017. The results indicate that most of the tourists used the internet as their main source of information. Tourism marketing efforts should be focused on the tourists while they plan their trip through Google, TripAdvisor and Facebook. The research indicate that accommodation marketing efforts should be focused on sites like booking.com and hotels.com and not on social media, travel agents and hotels reservation site (online or offline) .
