Review of Covid-19 Containment: Insights for Adaptation to and Mitigation of Climate Change in the Agricultural Sector

Abstract
Covid-19 ravaging the world today is typically a viral disease that comes at a time when the global climate is increasingly changing. Though there is still uncertainty as to when the transmission and spread will be halted, World Health Organization (WHO) in an effort to contain it put forward several measures that have been embraced by different countries. Covid-19 containment has brought to the fore some key insights and this paper provides a review of these insights in relation to climate change adaptation and mitigation in the agricultural sector. These include; early action, awareness, politicization, participation, unity of purpose, building structures, costs, and governance.
