Gas Sensor based on Carbon Nanotubes/Conductive Polymer Composite by Inkjet Printing

Abstract
Conducting polymer composites have been used to produce flexible devices and this attracted much researches attentions. In this study, we fabricated highly sensitive and low-cost chemical gas sensor by inkjet printing using electronic ink made of poly(3,4 ethylene dioxythiophene): poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT: PSS) composite with multi walled carbon nanotubes ( MWCNTs ) to improve the sensitivity value, This polymer solution was inkjet printed on a transparent substrate with an interdigitated electrode fabricated with screen printing of silver nano ink, Flexible gas sensor exhibits high response and sensitivity to carbon dioxide gas.
