Paper Title
Applying Game Theory to Badminton Strategies
Abstract
Winning a game of badminton depends on factors such as player’ skills, body strength, psychology, and game planning. To determine a good game plan, game theory can be used to analyze plays and provide a model. Nowadays, game theory is used in sports such as baseball, American football, tennis, table tennis, and volleyball. In this paper, we construct a basic-level model for a badminton game to find an optimal strategy for a smasher and a receiver. During the game, some strategies may be more or less effective than anticipated, and thus we consider variations by using partial derivatives.
