Marine Refrigeration System
This paper presents a design of marine refrigeration system applying absorption refrigeration that uses kerosene as fuel to supply heat to the generator. The coefficient of performance and the time to achieve certain values of evaporating temperatures are compared for the design of marine refrigeration system with and without waste heat return channel. The highest value of coefficient of performance and a faster rate of cooling are met with the application of waste heat return channel.
