Theory of Special Neurodiversity: Implications and Applications

Abstract
People with special needs represent an imperative part of society which is yet to receive the observant notion of socio-economic contributory class. The selected section of people is often treated as unserviceable and often undergo situations that lead to declining self-confidence and unbridled existence. The concept of neurodiversity perceives neurological differences viz., autism, dyslexia as normal brain variations rather than disorders. Present work categorises neurodiversity as a social phenomenon and attempts to utilize it for socio-economic growth. The work ascertains various problems faced by people with special needs and attempts to provide a closed form solution for the same. A simple youth-oriented survey was conducted to identify the validity of neurodiverse colonization, its applicability and gender dependability for people with special needs. Based on the results obtained, a novel model is proposed which focuses on enhancing the socio-economic growth and the contribution of special needs people.
