Strategic Plan for a Small-Medium Enterprise: Scope, Purpose and Implementation

Abstract
Strategic management has been considered as the process and the concept which relate company and its environment together for a long time (Leibold et al.2005). It includes the analysis, decisions and actions a firm engage in for creating and sustaining strategic advantages (Dess et al. 2005). On the other side, the intended subject of the research is to fill the gap in the small-medium enterprises (SMEs) studies. The effort of SMEs produces 60 percent of the Europe GDP. Therefore, many authors highlighted the importance of strategic planning for SMEs. However, due to the size and the concept of the businesses, many of the studies have just started or still in the early stages.
