Arrangement of Architectural Archives

Abstract
Often architecture records and architects’ private archives reach the archives in a disorganized manner, leading to their original order and provenance being lost, fundamental principles in the arrangement of any type of archives. This problem is the result of not giving due importance to its organization, being very common to find these documents deposited in attics or cellars, exposed to humidity, excessive heat and other elements that are very harmful for their long-term conservation. Thus, it is very important that the organization of the architecture documents takes place from the moment they are produced or even before, being identified and integrated in the respective projects, so that they can be recovered quickly and available to the public that seeks them.
