Behavioral Intention of Bangkok University Students Towards Food Waste in Canteen: Applying the Theory of Planned Behavior
Abstract
As it is generally known that the current problem of this world is the Food Waste Crisis, a Global Problem and it still exists until today. There are plenty of leftovers in canteens, cafes, restaurants and food stalls? This further leads to doubts about what is the intention that causes human behavior to impact the environmental issue. This leads to challenge and conduct this research. As a university student we survey data gathered among 432 respondents of university students in Bangkok from overall of 6 there are 3 public university students and 3 other private universities. We aim to investigate the food waste behavior of university students in Bangkok and to know if there are any differences among 6 universities in terms of 4 determinants in TPB Model (Theory of Planned Behaviors): Subjective Norm, Attitude Towards Behavior, Perceived Behavioral Control and Behavior Intention.
