Research and Innovations to Improve the Process of Recycling Plastic Waste

Abstract
This article presents the reason why plastic pollution represents a big threat to the sustainability of our planet and the main methods of recycling plastic waste. With the main purpose of reducing the amount of household plastic waste, this paper introduces the concept of a thermomechanical device that shortens the stages of the technological process of recycling i.e. collection, transportation, sorting and shredding, as a method of innovation.
