Clinical Indications of Arogyavardhinivati – An Experiencial and Scientific View
Abstract
Introduction: Rasaushadhis are commonly used by Ayurveda physicians. They are given in small quantity, highly effective, palatable also. There are different types of Rasaushadhis like gutika, vati, kharaliyarasayana, koopipakwarasayana, sagandha and nirgandhaparada yoga’s , parpats and pottalikalpas. Arogyavardhinivati is a kharaliyarasayana which is popularly used in the management of Chronic disorders.
Aim and Objectives
To study and evaluate the clinical indications of Arogyavardhinivati in an Experiential and scientific view.
Methods
Relevant refferences are taken from Samhitas, sangrahaGranthas, contemporary literatures, journals, internet and personal experiences.
Discussion
Arogyavardhinivati is effective in a number of Chronic disorders. Diseases like chronic skin disorders, liver disorders like hepatitis and cirrhosis of the liver, chronic fever conditions, chronic constipation, infective diseases and Anaemia.
Conclusion
Arogyavardhinivati is a kharaliyarasayana, a type of formulation where grinding and giving bhavanas with variousdicoctions is practiced. It is effective in various disorders.
