Modelling and Simulation of Stand-alone PV System for Home Electrification by Using Fuzzy Logic Control MPPT Method
Photovoltaic (PV) systems are considered as clean and reliablerenewable energy sources for developing countries. The output power of a photovoltaic (PV) module varies with the variation of climatic conditions (solar irradiance and temperature). In the PV system, the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) method is very important to obtain high output power from the modules. This paper presents an artificial intelligent method of MPPT using Fuzzy Logic Control (FLC) for stand-alone Photovoltaic (PV) system to track the Maximum Power Point (MPP).The performance of the proposed method has been simulated in MATLAB/SIMULINK.
