Paper Title
Another Brick in the Wall: Motion Pictures and Latin American Immigration during the Age of Trump

Abstract
Since Donald Trump became President of the United States, the possibility of building a huge wall on the border with Mexico has been widely covered by international media. However, discussions on national security and migration policy are nothing new for Latin American communities. Those policies which do not exclusively affect potential migrants but are also of interest to both the Latino communities established in the United States and the migrants' home countries, have already been represented in cinema. This research describes Trump’s Immigration Policy and reflects on three aspects (ethnic discrimination, identity and border) in a three-case study of films and tv series, which were released in less than two years into Trump’s presidency: Run Coyote Run (2017), Beatriz at Dinner (2017) and Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018). Keywords - Donald Trump, Latino Communities, Films, Migration.
