Measurement of Organization Maturity: The Case of Lithuanian Organizations

Abstract
Currently organizations are developing their process to be more efficient and competent towards the market. They are using all the tools to assess their competitiveness to succeed. Taken into consideration last decade we could identify growing interest in organizational maturity. These parameters help in lots of ways to adjust, improve processes, clarify situation in organization and predict possible challenges. Furthermore it also identifies strengths and weaknesses to develop strategies for organizations on the current level of organization maturity. Organizational maturity is being widely covered in researches. However focus towards research objects and elements differs, still there is lack of knowledge on the measurement of organization maturity. This paper presents results from measurement of organization maturity in Lithuania organizations. Organization maturity measurement provides different perspective and possible approaches. Authors present organization maturity as capability implement through its people, processes and technologies covering five levels of maturity. All organization maturity is divided into 3 organization elements, 8 sub-element and 59 indicators. Additional to this authors apply four organization maturity measurement methods which might be used during data analysis process. The purpose of this paper is to measure the organization maturity in the enterprises of Lithuania. To achieve this goal, experts’ evaluation had been applied comprising 20corporate heads and human resource managers, using survey method.
