Paper Title
Increasing Coverage Day Aviation Fuel through Development of Aviation Fuel Modular System
Abstract
The aviation fuel demand in Maluku Papua area experienced a significant increase of 9.6% per year. However, this increase was not accompanied by the development of infrastructure, it was seen that the average coverage day was low at 6.9 days. If it refers to fuel terminal design standards that there are several classes based on DOT, Coverage Days, number of tanks and the type of tank. Based on the pareto diagram, the problem found for the DPPU Tual is "Low Average Coverage Day in the DPPU Tual (<7 Days)" then the alternative solution is determined by the Modular Fuel Aviation System. Modular Fuel Aviation System, there are several main materials, namely tank (23 KL), Pump (70 KL / Hour), vessel filter and flow meter. And the tank design and hydraulic calculation calculations are carried out to make the material specifications. And obtained by installing Modular Fuel Aviation System in DPPU Tual, there was an increase in Coverage day and investment cost savings of 4.17 billion.
