Determinants of Life Quality in the City Development Process - Polish Experience
Abstract
Cities are economic, administrative, cultural and social centres within which the lives of both their inhabitants and people who use the city’s services but live outside it are concentrated. In the era of dynamic changes resulting both from demographic processes, the development of technology and the increase in social awareness, cities must seek new ideas and development directions. They should correspond to the needs and expectations of residents. The aim of the article was to assess selected aspects of the quality of life of the inhabitants of Zielona Góra. The tool used in the analysis is a standardized interview with a paper questionnaire conducted among 600 adult city residents.
