Techniques for Teaching How to Perform “Krubsepar”Together with “Kubsepar” for Thai Music Students at The Bachelor Degree Level
Abstract
The objectives of this study are to study performing “KrubSepar”, to analyze Thai poem for “Separ” and technique of teaching to perform “KrubSepar”work together with Thai poem. This study is quasi-experimental research by experimenting with 4 Thai music students. The results of this study show that, for basic melodies of “Separ” consist of to play long sound, short and light sound, long and light sound, short and hard sound, long and hard sound and special sound. The characteristics of Thai poem for “Separ” have the same of poem but there are 8-10 words in each phrase. There are 6 steps of teaching technique 1) to practice “KrubSepar” in the long sound 2) pronunciation Thai poem 3) to practice “KrubSepar” in the short and light sound, long and light sound, short and hard sound 4) to practice “KrubSepar” in the other form 5) to analyze poem and combine together playing “KrubSepar” and singing “Separ”.
