Description of Residual Stresses in Materials and Deformation of Rocks on base of Non-Euclidian Model

Abstract
We introduced the Airy stress function in the non-Euclidean model of a continuous medium, for which the Saint-Venant compatibility condition for deformations is not satisfied. The stress fieldis constructed in the framework of this model in the polar coordinate system. The non-Euclidean continuum model is applied for description of internal residual stresses in rectangular samples containing a hole and the zonal quasi-periodic structure around an excavated rock. The phenomenological parameters of the model are determined on the basis of comparison with experimental data. Keywords - Incompatible Deformation, Non-Euclidean Theory, Residual Stress, Zonal Disintegration.
