The Role of HR Technology in Staffing Practices: Challenges and Opportunities
This study discusses the role of HR technology in staffing practices (recruitment and selection). Specifically, it identifies and discusses nine HR technologies that affect staffing practices using an American manufacturing company as a case study. It argues that the use of technology is not the matter of choice but is a requirement for the success of any company and concludes and that it is no longer a question of whether a company use technology-based recruiting and selection approaches, but how they are deployed and utilized that matters. It also discusses the implications of the study and directions for future research.
