Impact of Information Communication Technology on Teaching and Learning of Technical Education in Colleges of Education in Lagos State, Nigeria

Abstract
The study was carried out to determine the Impact of Information Communication Technology on Teaching and Learning of Technical Education in Colleges of Education in Lagos State, Nigeria. The instruments used for data collection was structured questionnaire. Three research questions were formulated. Mean and standard deviation were used to analyze the data for answering research questions. Based on the data analyzed, it was found out from the study that ICT is useful in instructional delivery which had positive effect on teaching and learning Technical Education courses and effective in evaluating learner’s activities. From the finding, it was recommended that training of Technical Education Lecturers should be conducted regularly in order to acquire ICT application competencies which will enable them to keep abreast with innovations and various uses of ICTs for teaching and learning.
