More Effective Processes for Facilities Management to Upkeep and Measure Improvements

Abstract
This research is focused on the effectiveness and efficiencies of how facility managers use their budgets while also managing the Environment, Budgets, and effectiveness of their current process and procedures of taking care of the grounds, building and other related facilities in the best and most resourceful ways. Reviewed and researched in this document one will see the comparison between using full time staff compared to contract companies/employees and a full analysis of what processes are the most efficient in maintaining the facilities in the most environmentally safe and also effective ways for those that are using them. The university the authors are located at was used as the first incubator of this research and further research will continue to include other similar universities/organizations showing clear benchmarking confirming the said data.
