Investigation of Getting Iron Dust from Copper Production Waste Cinders

Abstract
In this paper a new method for getting iron dust from copper production waste cinder is developed. The method consists of multiple stages the primary of which are copper waste concentrate recovery with carbon and natrium carbonate, concentrate crushing and magnetic separation. Concentrate recovery has been significantly studied using different experiments and optimal temperature and time has been selected for that process. Based on experimental data the selected states allow to produce high quality iron powder. Keywords - Iron Dust, Copper Waste Cinder, Carbon, Recovery
