Paper Title
Innovation and Asian Economic Growth

Abstract
This paper examined the relationship between R&D and innovation and study the impact of innovation on economic growth in some selected Asian countries. The paper used a simultaneous panel quantile regression with the fixed effect model to explain these relationships. Also, we used various variables in annual data in the form of panel data covering 1996 to 2017 such as R&D expenditure, number of patents, secondary school enrollment, and other macroeconomic variables. Due to the data limitation, we selected 26 Asian countries to investigate in the model. The results suggest that the impact of R&D on innovation and economic growth is significant but it is different across countries with different levels of income.
