Determinants of Service Innovation in Hotel Industry

Abstract
This study investigated several determinants of service innovation (i.e., customer orientation, individualistic value orientation, power distance orientation and long-term orientation) in hotel industry in Malaysia. Quantitative survey method was used and 1 total of 168 respondents were solicited. Data analysis shows that customer orientation, individualistic value orientation, power distance orientation and long-term orientation were positively related to service innovation behavior among hotel staffs.
