A Model of Learning and Innovation Skills Development in 21st Century of Student Teachers in Rajabhat University Group in Northeast Region
Abstract
This research aims to 1)study a model of learning and innovation skills development in 21st century of student teachers in Rajabhat University group in northeast region,2)propose a model of learning skill and innovation development in 21st century of student teachers in Rajabhat University group in northeast region. The target group used in this research consists of 11 deans or administrators from 11 Faculties of Education (one from each) and 55 lecturers who are responsible for the Bachelor of Education Program in Physical Education Program, Faculty of Education, Rajabhat University group in northeast region.The tool used in research is questionnaire which is divided in 3 parts: 1) Check List, 2) 5-Rating Scale and 3)5-Rating Scale.The research results found that 1) the model for the development of learning and innovation skills in the 21st century of studentteachers of Physical Education at Rajabhat University group in the northeastern region which has 6 elements of learning and innovation skills in the 21stcentury ordering from most to less important as follows:1.1) the first order of importance is the exchange of opinions and co-decision making with a mean of 4.01,1.2) the second most important element is communication and collaboration with a mean of 3.97, 1.3) the third most important element is reasoning and problem solving with a mean of 3.96, 1.4) the fourth most important element is idea connection with a mean of 3.90, 2) a model of learning skill and innovation development in 21st century of student teachers in Rajabhat University group in northeast regionin overall is at a high level which has a mean of 4.32. The suggestions are that the students should be taught to think rather than being an order taker. Students these days have the ability to use technology tools better than in the past. The education in nowadays should provide the students the opportunity to create new works themselves and there should be new teaching methods and new ideas that will be useful to students in this era and in the future.
