Machine Learning in Cyber Security

Abstract
The convention of Machine Learning procedure in cyber security has risen over the year. Preliminary from IP traffic classification, finding vulnerable systems, risk identification, intrusion detection, Machine Learning promises responses that can be operative in delivering a secure network. Lately, research shows use of statistical traffic characteristics and Machine Learning techniques. This paper is a engrossed literature survey of machine learning and its convention to cyber analytics for intrusion detection, traffic classification and email filter application. On the basis of the relevant and the quantity of citation each methods were recognized and summarized because datasets are the significant portion of the Machine Learning tactics few well know datasets are also stated. Some references are also as extensive as on when to use a certain algorithm. Several attacks have been classified using the Machine Learning algorithms and in conclusion the performance of each algorithm have been calculated.
