Optical Property Measurement of the Transparent Sheets

Abstract
Since the transparent sheets have the excellent optical properties, they have been widely adopted as the substrate material in the flexible displays. The refraction index is one of the most important optical properties of such materials. In this study, we attempt to propose a novel measurement methodology for measuring refraction index of transparent sheet. The Twyman-Green interferometry and Fourier transform were respectively adopted in our measurement to find out the optical phase. The phase data were used to fit with the relationship between optical phase and refraction index to obtain the refraction index.
