Abstract
In cultural theories, they are defined as thetimes in which the pre-modern verbal, the modern times are written, and the post-modern period is the visual. Today we live in an age where reality and fiction mingle, and therefore uncertainty, the cloud of fogprevents us from seeing and perceiving the lesserones. One of the most effective tools in the formation of thismentalblindness is theworld of imagesthatsucceeds in convincing us. Therefore, in ordertoperceivetheagewelive in, the question is important that “Why are images of visual culture seen in the way they appear?”. Thefactthattheimagesreflecttherealitystemsfromthefactthatweadopt a conciliatoryapproachtowardsthem. However, when the relationship between the eye and human consciousness and ideology is questioned, it is understood that truth is sometimes not what it seems. Inthisstudy, thesubjectsmentionedabovearetheworks of art, images of popular culture, objects of ordinary use, digital productions etc. Various visuals and their contents will be questioned and analyzed.
