The Satisfaction of Students in Free Enrollment: The Case Study of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find the level of satisfaction in students’ free enrollment. A sample was selected from 376 students which were drawn from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in academic year of 2018 using simple random sampling method. The instruments used were questionnaire and open-ended questions. Statistic used for analyzing the data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test for 2 groups of independent variables and One-way ANOVA for 3 groups of independent variables. Research findings indicated thatbasic data of 376 students consisted of 258 female students and 118 male students. Most of them are sophomores. There were 4 elements which satisfied the free enrollment of the students from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
1. Result of the performance in free enrollment system in term of safety had the highest mean score at 4.41
2. Result of the performance in free enrollment system in term of information in the system had the highest mean score at 3.98
3. Result of the performance in free enrollment system in term of format of the system had the highest mean score at 3.73
4. Result of the performance in free enrollment system in term of system usage had the highest mean score at 3.55
